Note that the lawyer, as a epresentative, can negotiate, assist or even represent players, coaches or clubs in the conclusion of contracts since Law No. 2011-331 of March 28, 2011. The lawyer must also transmit the contracts that he signs and drafts on behalf of the athlete to the sports federations. In addition, the attorney's fees may not exceed 10% of the total amount of the contract concluded between the club and the player.
Note that the lawyer, under article 6.3.5 of the National Rules of Procedure of the legal profession, can, as an artist's agent, represent, negotiate or even conclude different types of artistic contracts.
